James F. Roggow, 74, husband of Marilyn J. Roggow, of Mt. Pleasant, SC died on Tuesday, February 9, 2010.

The relatives and friends of James Roggow are invited to attend his funeral service on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at All Saints Lutheran Church, 2107 Highway 17 North, Mt. Pleasant at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be private. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.

Mr. Roggow was born April 4, 1935 in Lansing, Michigan, son of the late Eustace F. Roggow and Patricia E. Roggow. He served in the United States Army from 1954-1956 and graduated from Michigan State University in 1959.

He worked for Corning Incorporated for 35 years and retired as an Employee Relations Manager in 1994. He was a member of All Saints Lutheran Church.

He was also a member of Snee Farm Country Club and served as a docent on the Yorktown at the Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Marilyn Roggow of Mt. Pleasant, SC; two daughters, Jodi L. Pruitt and her husband, Dean, of Gainsville, FL and Julie R. Diamond and her husband, Joseph, of Mt. Pleasant, SC; one son, Michael J. Roggow of New York, NY; three grandchildren, David J. Diamond, Daniel I. Diamond, and Jessica C. Diamond; as well as several brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws and other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, William F. Roggow and Charles S. Roggow.
