Dorothy was married, first, to Charles Victor Lepard on Sept. 3, 1944. They had two sons, Larry Aaron and Steven K. Charles died in 1966. In 1972 Dorothy married Dale Kesler. Dale died in 2012.

Gladys Billiard Jacobs Smith obituary

Gladys C. (Jacobs) Smith entered into her heavenly home on March 20, 2013. A resident of Lawrenceville, GA, formerly of Jackson, MI. She was born May 18, 1916 to parents, Clarence and Loretta Billard. Gladys enjoyed her family, friends, flowers, and loved to cook. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church for many years, and worked at Gill Mfg. She is survived by her children, Marilyn Roggow of Mount Pleasant, SC; Marcia Gorham of Fort Myers, FL; Larry (Shirley) Jacobs of Jackson, MI; Bonnie Phelps of Lawrenceville, GA; Robert (Janice) Jacobs of Jackson, MI; daughter-in-law, Sandy Jacobs of Surprise, AZ; several grand and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Jacobs, in 1963, sons, Ronald, Roger and Jerry, her parents, and her sisters, Bessie Sutto, and Dorothy Kessler. In 1964, Gladys married Louis Smith. He preceded her in death in 2009. Our beloved Gladys will be very deeply missed by family and friends. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at the funeral home with visitation from 10 AM until time of service. She will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Dorothy L. (Lepard) Kesler, age 85, died at 11:39 p.m. Monday, May 3, 2010 at Elmwood at the Springs, in Green Springs, Ohio.

Dorothy was born December 17, 1924 to the late Clarence and Loretta (Ebinger) Billiard in Steuben, Huron County, Ohio. She married Charles Lepard September 3, 1944 and he died in 1966. She married Dale Kesler July 1, 1972 and he survives in Tiffin.

Dorothy is survived by two sons, Larry (Joanne) Lepard of Norwalk, and Steven (Beverly) Lepard of Tiffin; a step-son, Perry Kesler of Tiffin; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Gladys Smith of Stone Mountain, Ga.; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by a sister Bessie Sutto.

Dorothy was a 1944 Attica High School graduate. She retired from Guardian Manufacturing, in Willard. She was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Tiffin and she had lived much of her life in Attica.

Visitation will be 10 –11 a.m. Saturday, May 8, 2010 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Tiffin, Ohio.

Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 8 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church with Rev. Donna Van Trees officiating. Burial will take place at Attica Venice Cemetery.

Contributions may be made to Seneca County Humane Society or to Angel Flight in care of Traunero Funeral Home, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113.
